- When in battle, press and hold down Tab on your keyboard. The Team Composition screen is displayed.
- Hover your cursor over the ally you want to commend and click
(Commend!) to the left of their name on the team list.
If the player has already commended you in the current battle, the icon
(Commend back!) is displayed.
- When in battle, press and hold Ctrl on your keyboard to be able to use cursor.
- Right click on the player's name in your team panel and, in the menu displayed, select (Commend!) or
(Commend back!).
You can instantly commend a player back during the first 10 seconds after you receive a commendation from them.
When someone sends you a commendation, a special icon 
and the player's name are displayed to the left of your aiming circle. Briefly press Tab on your keyboard to send a mutual commendation.
After the battle, all received commendations are displayed in the upper right corner of the Battle Results window.
Live Tags
If you wish to commend your most effective allies, Live Tags will highlight them for you in the team list during the battle. Tags mark the most prominent players in the following categories:
Top damage. This includes all types of damage dealt—from shooting, ramming, setting enemy vehicles on fire, etc. Unspotted damage is not included.
Top assisted damage. This includes spotting, immobilizing, and stunning. Unspotted damage is not included.
Top blocked damage.
The tag is displayed to the left of the player's name in the team list. If you get tagged, your name and the tag will be shown in yellow, while your allies' tags will be displayed in green.
Players can get multiple tags. Even if the vehicle is destroyed or the player leaves the battle before it ends, they still can be tagged for their achievements.
Tags are refreshed every second, keeping your team constantly updated on its leaders throughout the battle.
Commendation Settings
If receiving commendations in the heat of a battle disturbs you, you can disable this feature in the Game Settings:
- Press Esc and select Settings.
- In the General tab, go to the Battle Communication section and deselect Receive commendations in battle.
When this feature is disabled, you won't get any notifications about received commendations, including sound notifications. You won't be able to fast commend back by pressing Tab. The only way to see the received commendations during the battle will be via the Team Composition screen, and in the Battle Results window after the battle ends.
