Glossary
Revolt
An uprising against the clan owning the province. Revolts occur only in regular provinces. During a revolt, a landing tournament takes place in the province. A revolting province is marked with a special symbol on the map .
Resistance
Forces are able to start a revolt in a province when they reach their maximum value. The daily growth of the resistance depends on several factors.
Unrest Level
One of the factors of the resistance’s growth. The higher the unrest level, the faster the resistance will be able to start a revolt.
Prime Time
The time when battles for a province start. Each Front has several groups of provinces united by the same Prime Time. All actions in the province are suspended one hour before the Prime Time. Actions are available again after the end of the battles. A clan can only decrease the unrest level of its provinces, and establish or relocate its Headquarters during this period.
Province income
The amount of gold that a province provides to the owning clan for 24 turns. Gold is added to the clan’s Treasury in the amount of 1/24 of the province income for each turn. Some provinces can get a temporary income boost. Also, depending on Front configuration, a clan can increase province income using Influence.
Key Rules
Resistance is located in each regular province. With enough resources, resistance can start a revolt.
Revolts comply with a number of rules:
- Revolts can start only in regular provinces. They are not possible in auction or landing provinces, or in provinces with a temporary income boost.
- Resistance grows daily after the end of the battles for the province.
- A revolt starts when the resistance reaches its maximum value.
- If a clan owns only one province on the Global Map, resistance and unrest levels do not grow in this province.
- After the revolt starts, the province becomes a landing one.
- The revolt ends with the end of the battles for the province.
- Immediately after the revolt ends, the resistance and the unrest level are reset to zero.
Resistance Growth Factors
Factors affecting the resistance growth in a province:
- Province income. The higher the province income, the faster the resistance grows. If the province does not provide income, for example, after a ransack, then this factor will not enhance the resistance growth.
- The number of neighboring provinces that belong to the same clan. The more neighboring provinces in possession of the clan, the faster the resistance grows.
- The total number of provinces that belong to the same clan. The more provinces the clan owns, the faster the resistance grows.
- Unrest level. The higher the unrest level in the province, the faster the resistance grows. After the end of the battles for the province, unrest automatically increases by one level under the following conditions:
- The revolt did not start after the end of the battles.
- The province is not the only one in the clan’s possession.
Unrest Level Decrease
Clans cannot stop the resistance growth in their provinces, however, they can slow it down significantly by decreasing the unrest level.
Rules for decreasing the unrest level:
- A clan can submit an application to decrease the unrest level at any time (even during battles) until the revolt starts.
- Unrest can be decreased by several levels at once down to zero.
- A clan pays with influence to decrease the unrest level.
- If the Headquarters is established or a Division is located in the province, the clan receives a discount on decreasing the unrest level. The discounts stack if the province has both the Headquarters and Division.
To decrease the unrest level:
- Select a province on the Global Map.
- Click (Decrease Unrest Level). A window with information about the current unrest level opens.
- Move the slider to the target level.
- Click Decrease Unrest Level. The application for decreasing the unrest level is submitted. The unrest level gets decreased when the turn is processed.
Unrest Level Increase
Clans can anonymously increase an unrest level in enemy provinces, speeding up the growth of the resistance.
Rules for increasing the unrest level:
- A clan can submit an application to increase the unrest level after the end of the battles and up to an hour before the Prime Time in the province.
- A clan can increase the unrest by only one level per day.
- A clan pays with influence to increase the unrest level.
- Unrest cannot be increased above the maximum level. If clans submitted too many applications to increase the unrest level, the applications submitted earlier are canceled and the influence is returned to the clans when the turn is processed.
- The application to increase the unrest level cannot be submitted in the following cases:
- A revolt has already started in the province.
- The province is the only one in the clan’s possession.
To increase the unrest level:
- Select a province on the Global Map.
- Click (Increase Unrest Level). A window with information about the current unrest level opens.
- Click Increase by One Level. The application for increasing the unrest level is submitted. The unrest level gets increased when the turn is processed.
The applications are processed in the following order:
- Applications for decreasing the unrest level
- Applications for increasing the unrest level
