Commanders!

The Tank Festival will delight you with a series of exciting events we’ve been working on for the past few months. You will get the opportunity to try your hand at exciting new game modes and win tons of valuable rewards along the way.

The Czech Holidays is the opening activity of the Tank Festival and starts on August 9. Certain Festival tasks overlap with this event’s missions, so you can work on them both at the same time and make the most of your time, all while earning double the rewards!

Go Czech This August!

The Czechoslovakia Tech Tree first appeared in World of Tanks more than four years ago, and its vehicles — especially Tier IX-X tanks — have a lot of devoted fans thanks to their unique gameplay. Players enjoy their good dynamics and high mobility, fast reloading autoloader, and great guns. If you still don't have these menacing vehicles in your Garage, the Czech Holidays event will help you earn a load of Czech blueprints, meaning you’ll be able to research that nation's Tech Tree much faster.

Note: Czech Holidays missions can easily be completed either playing solo or in Platoons, and in both Random and Grand Battles modes.

In total, there will be 10 stages that both novices and veterans can enjoy during this event. Missions unlock daily, with the first starting on August 9; you can begin playing any time before the end of the event and catch up on all the missions for the days you've missed.

For example: if you started completing tasks on the fifth day of the event, you can go through the missions for all the previous days and get rewards for them before August 19! Each new Czech Holidays mission will be available daily at 07:00 PT | 09:00 CT | 10:00 ET

In addition to earning blueprints, Credits, Consumables, and other standard rewards, you also have the opportunity to get your hands on an exclusive 3D Style for the brand-new
Škoda T 27the first-ever Tier VIII Czech Premium tank.

What about the combat performance of the first Czech Premium vehicle? If you enjoy playing Tier IX-X tanks of this Tech Tree, then you will definitely appreciate the Škoda T 27 and its
three-round autoloader. Its damage per shot is nothing special, but it has enough firepower to seriously hurt opponents, thanks to its accurate gun with short aiming time and good penetration values.

With its rounded turret and rational angles of the vehicle’s sloped armor plates, one can count on casual ricochets but shouldn’t rely on the thickness of the armor. Conserve your HP by making the most of the vehicle’s mobility and surprise factor—its good view range will definitely help with this.

When the situation demands it, high specific power and a decent top speed allow for swift changes in position on the battlefield. And don’t forget to reload your magazine during long maneuvers, so you can achieve maximum battle performance.

Be sure to use its weapon skillfully and make your shots count, choose your position on the battlefield carefully, and make a hasty retreat if necessary — this is the secret of successful gameplay with this tank.
