Guide to Public Tests

5/22: Updated to Iteration 3

It's time again for a new World of Tanks Public Test! We're gearing up for the next update by letting everyone sample what we've been working on just before it's wrapped up and ready to go. Not to mention you can help us gather data and feedback in the days leading up to the final update release!

All World of Tanks players are eligible to take part in this Public Test as long as they registered before May 3. You don't need to be an experienced tester to join in, you just need to be willing to try out as many of the new features as you can, test out new features, and send us your feedback!

Any new or changed content for the Public Test should be considered not final and subject to change upon final update release.

Featured Changes

  • Added a new special test game mode event, Domination
  • Changed, rebalanced, and reformulated conditions for 36 Personal Missions
  • Added the ability to fight Battles for Stronghold in tier VIII vehicles for Strongholds of Level V-VII
  • Added the ability to create a Platoon and invite a player to join during the battle
  • Added the ability to switch between the SD and HD versions of the game client in the game installer and launcher. The SD version will include textures of a lower quality and consequently occupy less space on the hard drive
  • Added Personal Reserves:
    • Once activated, Personal Reserves can increase the number of Credits, Free Experience, Crew experience, or regular Experience earned. Each Personal Reserve has a certain duration. You can earn Personal Reserves by completing certain missions
