Strongholds Changes in Update 9.8

New Format in Battles for Strongholds

Strongholds is going to change significantly with Update 9.8. Previously, Clans unable to participate in Battles for Strongholds due to an insufficient number of players or tier X vehicles were unable to use Reserves above level IV. This is now going to change.

In the upcoming update, Battles for Strongholds will add a Champion division format, with a maximum of 10 vehicles up to tier VIII, available to Clans with a Command Center of levels V to VII. This will allow more Clans to activate their Defense Period and fight, level up their Stronghold, and get better bonuses. At the same time, all Clans with an activated Defense Period will still be able to fight each other with some restrictions on Combat Reserves.

Scheduling for Defense Periods

In Update 9.8, Defense Periods will no longer be allowed to be scheduled between 03:00 and 06:00 PT (06:00 - 09:00 ET). Please note that this restricted period will be expanded further in a future update. This change has been introduced to prevent situations with battles occurring during server restarts, as well as to avoid late-night battles intended to deter players from participating.

ATTENTION! Clans that have Defense Periods scheduled from 03:00 to 06:00 PT (06:00 to 09:00 ET) will be postponed to 18:00 PT (21:00 ET) and all planned battles will be reset.

Clans with a Defense Period scheduled to be postponed will be able to change it at any time in-game, or if unable to in-game, may contact Customer Support to request an adjustment. Support tickets should be sent by the Clan Commander or an executive officer and have the ticket subject written in the following format: "Clan Name [Clan tag] Defense Period transfer from 18:00 PT (21:00 ET)"
