The multiplier is applied to the original amount, 100, either one time for the x2 multiplier or two times for the x2 multiplier and the Steel Wall multiplier as shown above; they do not stack, meaning you will not receive (100 x 2) x 2 = 400 Crew XP, but instead 300 Crew XP, as shown.
