JANUARY 2024 | ||
---|---|---|
Vehicle: | Date: | Summary: |
V Mitsu 108 | 01/09 |
A new branch of Japanese heavy tanks entered the game with Update 1.23.1. The branch starts at Tier V with the Mitsu 108, a surprisingly mobile vehicle with a base top forward speed of 35 km/h. It also has an excellent maximum gun depression angle of −10°. |
VI Type 3 Ju-Nu | One tier up in the Japanese heavy line, the Type 3 Ju-Nu keeps the mobility and great gun depression of its predecessor while gaining a sturdier turret and significantly better DPM from its top 88 mm gun. Who would have thought this would be such a formidable Tier VI tank? Perhaps Ju-Nu? |
|
VII Type 4 Ju-To | Moving even closer to the top of the Japanese heavy tree, the Type 4 Ju-To has a more powerful engine that allows it to retain the mobility of its predecessors while also having thicker turret armor. |
|
VIII Type 57 | Players got a taste of the double-aiming mechanic in late 2023 with the Type 63 Premium Tier VIII heavy tank, which was a possible Holiday Ops 2024 Large Box item. Its Tech Tree counterpart, the Type 57, retains this attribute. In a nutshell, the cannon cools down after each shot, and if you wait after firing, your next round will have increased accuracy. |
|
IX Type 68 | The Tier IX Japanese heavy Type 68 plays very similarly to the Type 57, but with many better stats, such as DPM, reload time, penetration, and damage per shot. Plus, the tank achieves a maximum gun depression angle of −12° with the help of hydropneumatic suspension. |
|
X Type 71 | At the top of the Japanese heavy branch is the Type 71. It has enough mobility to reach favorable terrain folds in good time. Once in position, the suspension can activate automatically and crank the maximum gun depression level from −7° to −12°. Damage per shot of 400 HP and a base reload time of 8.8 seconds provide a nice foundation for some solid damage per minute. Alternatively, you can occupy a back slope far away from the enemy and forfeit DPM records to snipe: When the gun cools down, the base dispersion is 0.28 m at 100 m. |
|
VIII Charioteer Nomad | 01/11 | The Charioteer Nomad is a modded version of the British Tier VIII Charioteer featured in a Battle Pass Special, and you just had to be there to snatch it up. It's the perfect tank destroyer to commit a heist with, if that's something you were planning on doing. |
X BZ-72-1 | 01/24 | One of the exclusive vehicles from 2024's Auction, the BZ-72-1 is equipped with jet boosters, boasts a mighty 130 mm gun with 560 HP of damage per shot, and has a 400 m view range. |
VIII ISU-122-2 | 01/25 | Another vehicle from 2024's Auction, the ISU-122-2 is the second double-barreled TD ever added to the game. As a result, it has gargantuan firepower but limited survivability due to its low front and turret armor. |
FEBRUARY 2024 | ||
Vehicle: | Date: | Summary: |
IX Object 590 | 02/08 | The Object 590 was introduced as one of two special new vehicles during the Lunar New Year event. This Soviet medium boasts a robust turret and is well-suited for supporting from mid-to-long range. |
VIII Miel | The Miel is the other vehicle introduced through 2024's Lunar New Year event. It is a modified version of the Bat.-Châtillon Bourrasque with a permanent 3D style; the quick shell cycling and impressive gun handling remain the same. |
|
X Object 452K | 02/23 | The Object 452K is a powerful Tier X vehicle that was only available to 80,000 players through the limited Assembly Shop event. The tank has a substantial damage per shot of 560 HP and sharply angled armor plates to easily dominate the terrain. |
MARCH 2024 | ||
Vehicle: | Date: | Summary: |
IX TT-130M | 03/05 | The TT-130M was an exclusive reward in Battle Pass: Season XIII. It's a worthwhile reward with damage per minute of 2,000 HP, bulky armor that ensures it can take a beating, and a visual aesthetic that hardly requires any additional styling. |
IX T 54D | 03/15 |
This year's Green Light Festival event brought two lucky vehicles into the game. The first, the T 54D, soars with 268 mm of penetration and an aiming time of 2.7 s. |
VIII Alembic | The Alembic is the other Green Light Festival exclusive, and it is identical to the ASTRON Rex 105 mm in every way (aside from the permanent 3D style). |
|
APRIL 2024 | ||
Vehicle: | Date: | Summary: |
V SDP 40 Zadymka | 04/09 |
April's Update 1.24.1 brought with it a line of Polish tank destroyers, starting at the Tier V SDP 40 Zadymka with a good forward top speed (50 km/h) and high damage per shot (240 HP) for its tier. |
VI SDP 44 Burza | The SDP 44 Burza is the Tier VI Polish TD, keeping largely similar stats to its predecessor, but with a modest boost to its damage output and a big boost to its bulk with 700 HP and 150/50/30 mm hull armor. |
|
VII SDP 57 Gowika | The next highest in the line of Polish TDs, the SDP 57 Gowika continues the gradual trend of bulk and damage enhancement as you move up the tiers. |
|
VIII SDP 58 Kilana | Starting at Tier VIII with the SDP 58 Kilana, the Polish TD line begins to utilize deep-rifled guns that enable the vehicles to fire star tray shells at incredible velocities. Pairing such a gun with the Kilana's 700 HP of damage makes for a deadly encounter with this TD at close range almost every time. |
|
IX SDP 60 Gonkiewicza | The SDP 60 Gonkiewicza takes the deep-rifled gun and becomes even more ready to brawl with alpha damage of 800 HP at distances of up to 50 m. |
|
X NC 70 Błyskawica | At the top of the Polish TD line is the NC 70 Błyskawica. The Tier X plays largely the same as the Gonkiewicza, but with some speed improvements like its 13.7 s of reload time and 45 km/h top speed to help keep up with same-tier vehicles. |
|
MAY 2024 | ||
Vehicle: | Date: | Summary: |
VIII AAT60 | 05/02 |
One of two tanks featured in the Orion Lockboxes, the AAT60 is a solid example of a glass cannon. It has great DPM, penetration values, shell velocity, and accuracy... just don't expose it to enemy fire. |
VIII Nemesis | The other Orion newcomer, the Nemesis, is the embodiment of hull-down play. It has excellent frontal turret armor and great maximum depression, but is just a bit sluggish in its reload time. |
|
V BT-42 Jatkosota HS | 05/13 |
Girls und Panzer brought this German (actually Finnish) BT-42 Jatkosota HS, which has unbelievable damage and sweet penetration values for a Tier V light tank. |
VII Tiger II Kuromorimine | The Tiger II Kuromorimine is a Premium Tier VII version of the popular Tiger II tank. As such, it has weakened stats that keep it competitive in its tier while still playing like the Tiger II we all know and love. |
|
JUNE 2024 | ||
Vehicle: | Date: | Summary: |
IX TS-60 | 06/05 |
One of two vehicles made available through Battle Pass Season XIV Tokens, the TS-60 combines a rear-mounted turret and 400 HP damage in 8.6 seconds to make a competitive Tier IX tank destroyer. |
VI Churchill Crocodile | We devoted an entire Season of Battle Pass to the 80th anniversary of D-Day, with over a month of special challenges and rewards. One of the Base Rewards of Season XIV was the Churchill Crocodile. Nearly identical to the Churchill VII stat-wise, the Crocodile has a unique permanent historical 3D style. |
|
VI M4A3(76)W Sherman | Another Battle Pass Season XIV Base Reward, the M4A3(76)W Sherman is similar to the M4A3E8 Sherman, but with a rugged 3D style. |
|
VI Char de transition | The last of the Battle Pass Season XIV tanks, the Char de transition adds a battle-hardened 3D style to the ARL 44. |
|
VI A43 BP prototype | 06/20 | The special Battle Pass Tankfest Chapter offered the A43 BP prototype as its major reward. What this tank lacks in speed, it makes up for in formidableness—both offensively and defensively—with 150 HP damage per shot, 171 mm of penetration, and 152 mm front hull armor. |
JULY 2024 | ||
Vehicle: | Date: | Summary: |
VIII CS-52 C | 11/07 | Things hit a new tempo in July when the CS-52 C debuted with its electric Rapid mode, enabling you to move at a blistering 70 km/h when active. |
X Vickers MBT Mk. 3 | 07/25 | Players who assembled the Vickers MBT Mk. 3 were rewarded with one of the best guns at Tier X, with the possibility of the lowest gun dispersion in the game and DPM that can exceed 3,400 HP/min with the right crew perks and equipment. |
AUGUST 2024 | ||
Vehicle: | Date: | Summary: |
III Straussler V–4/40 | 08/06 | We celebrated our 14th anniversary with a gift for players: The Straussler V-4/40, a Premium Tier III light tank. It's a slow little guy in terms of traverse, but it has a solid 64 mm of penetration and a 2.7 s reload time to compensate. |
IX UDES 03 Alt 3 | 08/08 |
The UDES 03 Alt 3 stands out from its Tier IX medium contemporaries with its combination of hydropneumatic suspension and an autoloader. This tank is ready to handle any kind of terrain with ease and snipe down enemies once it's in position—just be sure to avoid HE shells like the plague. |
VII Škoda T 17 | The major highlight of August was Update 1.26 and the introduction of the Czechoslovak light tank line. The Tier VII Škoda T 17 follows a more traditional LT build than its older siblings, foregoing the autocannon feature this line is known for. | |
VIII Vz. 64 Blesk | The Vz. 64 Blesk is the first Czechoslovak light tank with an autocannon. It's naturally more modest than its higher-tier siblings but still takes advantage of its rapid-fire shooting ability with a 60 km/h top speed. Get in close to enemies and spray your heart out. |
|
IX LPT-67 Šelma |
The LPT-67 Šelma is a bit frail for Tier IX, but if you have the patience and the stealth capabilities to get up really close behind your opponent, you'll be rewarded with those oh-so satisfying 800+ HP damage bursts at close range. |
|
X Vz. 71 Tesák | The Vz. 71 Tesák tops the Czechoslovak light tree with all of the things that make these tanks so special and some fantastic stats like −12° of gun depression. Czechoslovak autocannons go brrrr... | |
SEPTEMBER 2024 | ||
Vehicle: | Date: | Summary: |
IX E 77 | 09/20 |
The E 77 is a compact heavy tank introduced during this year's Waffenträger event. It has robust armor and packs a renowned 12.8 cm gun. It may be small, but it's got ramming power, and it's not a tank to count out. |
VIII Leichter Kpz. 70 (K) | The Leichter Kpz. 70 (K), also introduced during Waffenträger: Reckoning, has a unique design that offers an exceptional 17° of gun depression alongside a compact turret with a precise 90 mm gun that allows for firing from cover while staying hidden. |
|
VIII Projekt ION | The last Waffenträger Reckoning vehicles is the Projekt ION. Aesthetically, it's about as cool as a vehicle can look without any additional 2D or 3D styles. In practice, its Škoda T 56-identical stat spread make it a premier Tier VIII heavy. |
|

VEHICLE: | DATE: | SUMMARY: |
VIII SDP wz 66 Grom | 10/03 | The SDP wz 66 Grom brought the Polish thunder with a deafening 800 HP of damage at distances of 50 m or closer. Like the full Polish TD tree introduced earlier in the year, this vehicle begs to get in close and brawl. Players could earn this bad boy in the Rolling Thunder event. |
VIII Nergal | 10/16 | This year's terrifying Babylon Project Halloween event rewarded players willing to journey into the depths of subspace with the Nergal, a Tier VIII heavy with fire in its veins and enough armor to show the battlefield its horrifying potential. |

|
V SU-100I | Tier V players were well served with Holiday Ops 2025 Large Boxes, as the SU-100I delivered up to 250 HP of damage per shot and 175 mm of penetration—the latter is one of the highest among all vehicles of the tier. |
|
V Pz.Kpfw. 38 (K) | The Pz.Kpfw. 38 (K) is an incredibly mobile Tier V medium tank with a top speed of 55 km/h and a rate of fire that more than makes up for its lower damage per shot. |
|
IV Type 1 Ho-Ni II | As a rare Tier IV tank destroyer, the Type 1 Ho-Ni II delivers an exceptional 350 HP per shot. It's somewhat slow, but careful positioning can put you in the right place for a devastating ambush. |
|
III M3A3 Stuart | The M3A3 Stuart has average bulk and damage for a Tier III light tank, but its competitive mobility allows you to whizz across the battlefield and terrorize your enemies. |
|
II AMR P.103 | The AMR P.103 is a Large Box Tier II Premium with a rapid rate of fire and a solid top speed of 45 km/h that makes it a solid pick for its weight class. |
|
IX GSOR the TANK | 12/19 | Last but certainly not least, GSOR the TANK joined the game as a free gift to players. With high-penetration HESH shells and a rugged exterior, this Brit matched the spirit of Holiday Ops 2025's guest host. |
