8.8 Update is Now Live

The 8.8 update has arrived! North American players are now able to enjoy all of the latest vehicles and features rolled out in this brand-new iteration of World of Tanks. Many thanks to our testers who helped us hammer out the finer details in the 8.8 Public Test!

The 8.8 update brings a brand new USSR medium tank tech tree. Now, players get a chance to try out the A-43 (a new tier VI, following on from T-34), the A-44 (a tier VII), the Object 416 (a tier VIII) and the Object 140 (a fearsome tier X, following on from T-54).

Additionally, two new German tanks make their debut: the Durchbruchswagen 2 (a tier IV heavy tank) and the VK 30.02 (M) (a tier VI medium tank). Players can also find new Chinese Premium tanks added to Gift Shop, the T-34-3 (a tier VIII medium tank) and the 112 (a tier VIII heavy tank).

Two German tanks have been changed. The VK 30.01 (H) moved from tier VI to tier V, and its category changed from medium to heavy. Also, the VK 36.01 (H)'s category changed from medium to heavy.
