The Gorilla, a Tier XI American tank destroyer, introduces a new firing mechanic built around its Multi-Pack Charge System, allowing it to shoot before the gun is fully reloaded. This unique system offers two firing options at different reload stages.

A full shot, fired after the gun has completely reloaded, delivers massive alpha damage with excellent penetration and strong stabilization. Alternatively, a quick shot can be fired partway through the reload cycle, trading penetration, damage, and accuracy for the ability to respond earlier in combat. You decide between patience for maximum firepower or rapid reaction under pressure.

The Fauteur, a Tier XI French heavy tank, features the Induction Propellant Afterburner, a system that gradually builds an energy charge to increase the damage of its next shot. The longer the charge accumulates, the stronger the damage bonus becomes.

By default, the system stores energy up to a safe limit, providing a steady increase in firepower. You can disable the limiter to accumulate an even greater charge for devastating shots—at the cost of reduced gun handling. Managing this balance between damage potential and weapon stability is key to mastering the Fauteur.

The Executor, a Tier XI British medium tank, combines precision firepower with exceptional mobility through its High-Pressure Turbocharger Assist system. Activating the system temporarily boosts acceleration, engine power, and both forward and reverse speeds.

This burst of mobility allows the Executor to reposition quickly, exploit openings, and surprise opponents with sudden maneuvers. Maintaining high speed also shortens the system's cooldown, rewarding aggressive yet controlled movement. Despite its mobility-focused mechanics, the vehicle excels in the role of a medium sniper, striking enemies from advantageous positions.

Several vehicle branches leading to Tier XI are receiving performance improvements to better match their intended battlefield roles.

Vehicles in the Object 432U, Imbattable, STK-2, and Contriver lines have been adjusted across multiple tiers to strengthen their gameplay identity and combat effectiveness. In addition, the Strv K and Panther mit 8,8 cm L/71 receive targeted improvements to keep them competitive.

A new experimental feature that shows how battles typically begin.

During the pre-battle countdown and the first minutes of the match, popular early-battle routes appear on the minimap. These zones reflect the directions most commonly taken by players using vehicles of the same tier and role, helping you understand how battles usually unfold at the start.

One battlefield has undergone a significant overhaul, while two have been refreshed to create more dynamic engagements and clearer tactical options.

Klondike has been adapted from Grand Battles for Random Battles, while Pearl River and Serene Coast receive layout changes, new routes, and improved terrain features. These updates aim to enhance the balance between vehicle classes and open up new strategic possibilities across the map.

Update 2.2.1 expands the WoT Plus subscription with an additional vehicle benefit.

All WoT Plus subscribers will gain access to the Leox, an agile Tier IX Premium medium tank available during the subscription. The vehicle comes with a unique Spanish-themed 2D style that remains on the account even if the subscription expires.
