Commanders!
The Babylon Project begins a new chapter in the Mirium saga. This year, a whole new Last Stand mode is available, with incoming waves of enemies you have to repel. The classic mode, where you go deeper into the phases of subspace, is also here—with several interesting developments to it. As usual, you have a Progression to complete so you can learn the rich story and receive rewards that include the Nergal: a unique Tier VIII Premium heavy that came out from the deep.

Magnus needs to be filled with Mirium so that your team can progress through phases. This happens as you pick up Mirium dropped by destroyed enemies. You don't need to deliver it to Magnus. The team will begin Phase 2 where Magnus used to be in Phase 1, and Phase 3 where Magnus used to be in Phase 2.

The boss you meet in Phase 4 depends on the difficulty level. Despite their might, every boss is vulnerable in this phase. Aim at the marked areas on its armor, and remember to use Alternative ammo if you have it! Also, destroy the minions that the boss summons. Good luck!
The essence of the classic mode stays the same: as part of a five-tanker team, you go deeper into what the scientists of the new Babylon Project call subspace. You have to traverse three phases with enemies getting bigger and nastier and the good old Immortal chasing you to confront a powerful boss in the fourth. The event has three difficulty levels; the first is available from the start, and defeating a boss unlocks the next difficulty.
Yet this year, the classic mode plays out differently:
- You don't need to deliver Mirium to Magnus to get to the next phase of subspace. You just have to obliterate a specific number of enemies. The Mirium they drop and that you pick up will get to Magnus automatically.
- Mirium dropped by defeated enemies now powers your tank's abilities. Simply put, it is your tank’s "mana," and you should spend it—as the maximum amount of Mirium your vehicle can carry at any given time is limited to 150. I.e., you will not be able to pick up more Mirium if you are at 150.
As usual, other players are not able to pick up your Mirium, and vice versa. The only exception is when your tank, or another player's, gets destroyed.
Also, the set of abilities available to your tank in combat is determined by your pre-battle loadout of event consumables.
Progression
The Babylon Project event Progression is the stairway to the Nergal. On the way, you will reveal shocking truths about Mirium, unlock additional event vehicles, and pick up nice rewards that include Personal Reserves, Crew Books, decals, Battle Pass Points, and more.
To advance in the Progression and learn the plot by reaching Objectives and decrypting Records, you need Decryption Keys. Obtain them by:
- Fighting event battles (classic mode and Last Stand mode)
- Completing event missions (you can do this once per day per each event vehicle)
- Acquiring special bundles in the in-game Store and the Premium Shop
You can skip Objectives by spending extra Decryption Keys. These Objectives will count as completed and you will receive their rewards.
The Nergal
In addition to its unusual appearance, this otherworldly spawn of Mirium is a very robust—if somewhat cumbersome—heavy tank. Its fast-reloading gun, with a maximum depression angle of 10°, is set high enough to punch some enemies through the roof.
Last Stand Mode
In the all-new Last Stand mode, you plus four more tankers must defend the Babylon facility against incoming waves of Mirium-infused echo tanks. Every successive wave consists of tougher opponents, and you need to defeat five waves to win. If an ally is destroyed but you manage to beat the current wave, that ally will be resurrected before the next wave arrives with 50% of HP.
As these battles take place not in subspace but in "normal" reality, you can play in any Tier VIII medium tank, heavy tank, or TD from your Garage—but have infinite ammo and use event abilities. If you don't have any Tier VIII mediums, heavies, or TDs, you will be provided with three rental vehicles for the duration of the Babylon Project event.
Last Stand is unlocked together with the second difficulty level of the classic mode, i.e., once you beat the boss on the first difficulty level.
Online Leaderboard
Your heroic deeds in the Last Stand mode will not go unnoticed. The most stalwart defenders will make it to the regional online Leaderboard with unique rewards that include the "Dark Knight" 2D style.
The key performance indicator in Last Stand is the time it takes your team to win. If you tie with someone by time, damage caused will determine the ranking. The Leaderboard is updated hourly, but the final results will be established and the rewards distributed after the Babylon Project event ends. Everybody will get something, and those who make it into the top 80%, 50%, and 5%, will get more. Theoretically, you can win with a single stellar performance!
Prevail against all odds in both modes of Babylon Project and learn more secrets of Mirium, Commanders!
