The Scavenger Hunt is Back in May!

The Scavenger Hunt is back this May! We've listened to player feedback, and improved things to make it easier than before to collect codes and earn rewards.

If you're new to the Scavenger Hunt, here's the lowdown.

Beginning on May 1, Bonus Codes will be distributed across multiple Channels. If you redeem one or more codes, you'll receive a special set of missions that corresponds with how many codes you've gathered all month long. Each code grants rewards that can be earned by completing a repeatable mission in-game.

Here's the catch : Each code is only active for two days, beginning May 1, 00:00 CT.

• 1st Code: Active from May 1, 06:20 CT through May 3, 06:20 CT.
• 2nd Code: Active from May 2, 06:20 CT through May 4, 06:20 CT.
• 3rd Code: Active from May 3, 06:20 CT through May 5, 06:00 CT.

And so on, so forth until May 31. You can keep up with the event to help you redeem codes every day if you want to reach the XP rewards. If you can't redeem all 31 Codes, you'll still receive a total of nine (9) Personal Reserves per code (up to 271).

The more codes you gather in May, the more rewards you'll get. Players will receive access to additional missions based on the milestones for the total number of May Scavenger Hunt Codes redeemed. The missions and their corresponding rewards are as follows:

This mission will consume one of your Scavenger Hunt Codes and give you 1 Manual Token. The number of times you can complete this mission is equal to the number of codes you've redeemed. (You can use this mission to track how many codes you've accumulated thus far.)

For example:

It's May 15 and you've redeemed 15 codes. You'll be able to repeat Personal Mission: Scavenger Hunt a total of 15 times. Each time you complete the mission, the number at the top right corner of the mission window (visible in your Missions tab) will increase. When it stops, you've used up all your available Scavenger Hunt codes. If you gather all 31 codes, you'll be able to complete all of the missions in the Scavenger Hunt mission chain.

Pay attention to your Folder Tokens! The XP rewards for collecting 30 or 31 codes will be applied to the vehicle used to complete the mission.

Scavenger Hunt Improvements

We've received 3 primary points of feedback from participants. With that in mind, here's how we hope these improvements will address these pain points:

Tracking

Before, players were gathering codes all month with no confirmation as to how many codes they received until the month is over.

Having the missions run all month concurrently with the event allows players to utilize the in-game Missions interface and track their accumulated codes. You'll be able to track how many Folder Tokens you've received and where to look for the next code.

Scheduling

Due to the mysterious nature of the Scavenger Hunt schedule, it was easy to "fall out of the loop" if you missed even one code due to a lack of a fixed schedule. Some CC's release content later than others as well, resulting in some confusion regarding the 48-hour window for code redemption.

To address these issues, we're publishing a full schedule at the beginning of the month. Keep in mind, CC's are people too, and life happens. If anything changes, we'll be sure to post updates to this article and the forums as they arise.

Timing

Missions for the February Scavenger Hunt went live at the beginning of March. Players had one weekend to complete missions and earn their Scavenger Hunt rewards. Having these missions run concurrently with the code gathering period should allow players to complete these missions at their convenience. If you can't play during the week, you can gather codes and complete their corresponding missions during the weekend. You can blast through them all at once or take your time and complete them daily. You're free to complete them at your own pace during the month.
