Two dates, two moods.
Halloween hits on October 31 with spooky thrills, while Día de Muertos runs on November 1 and 2 as a vibrant, life-affirming remembrance.
Little angels first, then all our departed.
Día de Muertos blends Indigenous Mesoamerican remembrance with the Catholic observances of All Saints' and All Souls' days, honoring children on November 1 and adults on November 2. The celebration was recognized by UNESCO in 2008.

Día de Muertos ofrendas are built to invite loved ones' spirits back, often set with photos, favorite foods, marigolds, and copal incense to guide and honor them.
