What's New in Wave 2

This wave focuses on expanding and developing existing mechanics. The goal is to provide more tools, more synergy, and more strategic depth within the systems you already know. You’ll find many new cards that enable stronger combo potential, especially around Blitz, SPGs, Victory Points strategies, and more.

Whether you prefer explosive turns or long-term tactical planning, this set offers new ways to refine and elevate your playstyle.

World of Tanks: The Card Game—The Basics

The game offers intense 15 to 35-minute matches for two players. Each player builds a 43-card deck around one primary nation, with 11 nations available (including five primary). Each player needs either a Starter Deck or a custom deck made from booster cards, plus the essential tokens. While the Starter Decks feature U.S.A. and Germany, players are free to build and customize decks using cards from other nations.

All five vehicle types from World of Tanks are represented; the number of moves and decisions you can make is immense, and destroying all your foe's machines isn't the only way to win. Check out the tutorial below!

Deck-Building

Many of your strategic options in World of Tanks: The Card Game are about deck-building. Modify your 40-card decks (the number doesn't include the three base cards) with cards from 10-card booster packs (purchased separately) and try out different strategies—from relying on heavies to overwhelming your adversary with waves of light tanks.

Vehicle cards differ by rarity, so you will have a lot of trading options depending on your strategic preferences.
