Tankers,
By the end of 1943, Soviet leadership was seeking an up-gunned tank destroyer, given that the SU-85's gun wasn't enough to counter the thick armor on German tanks of the time. This led to the introduction of the SU-100, and though still based on the T-34 chassis, it featured a much more powerful 100mm cannon.
Take a look at the SU-100 with the Chieftain, and gain insight into what made this tank destroyer see service well after WWII.
