WCI Participants

XYHong
After the conclusion of the 2023 WCI, XYHong emerged like a force of nature. Since its formation, the team has participated in three domestic tournaments, consistently securing spots in the finals and never missing out on a top finish. With remarkable resilience and determination, XYHong fears no challenge. During the 2024 WCL Summer Tournament, the team advanced from the group stage with a tied score and then made an impressive lower bracket run, winning three consecutive matches to claim the 2024 WCL Summer Championship, earning the first ticket to the 2024 WCI. XYHong has been actively training for WCI, and we can be confident that they will shine brightly on the WCI stage!
STORM
European first seed STORM wrote the perfect underdog story and against all odds managed to make the loserbracket run to become the regional champion. The team from Poland should not be underestimated, putting heavy hitting newcomers together with experienced veterans. Making their first international appearance, the team is determined to commit their name to the history books.
DOPAMINE
Team DOPAMINE is a mix of American and Canadian players that has dominated its region through the whole year. The team has not yet missed any final and claimed two regional titles, winning the Onslaught Legends Cups in May and August. Combining the experience of long-time WGL and Clan Wars veterans with highly skilled superstars, this team is coming to leave an impact on the tournament.
morimorimorichan
The APAC region will again be represented by the Japanese team MMMC. The back-to-back regional champions have stayed together since their WCI 2023 participation and used the year to grow their coordination and teamplay. Successfully managing to transition to the new Onslaught format, team MMMC is ready to take on the international competition again.
ONEONE
Since its founding in 2024, team ONEONE has experienced two competition losses and a period of roster instability. However, after months of settling down and stabilizing the lineup, the team has shown rapid growth, securing a ticket to the WCI in Chengdu with an undefeated record in the Fall Championship. But this is only the first step toward success. As a full-time offline team, their goal is to win the championship on the international stage, and they are currently preparing intensively. Let's look forward to their success in the competition!
HIT AND RUN
The defending WCI 2023 champion is back, having undergone various roster adjustments and a merge with former rival OPUR. Known as the Polish powerhouse, the team has not yet been able to show the same dominance in the Onslaught mode and struggled during the regional qualifiers. Motivated more than ever to reclaim the title and silence the doubters, HIT AND RUN is determined to take it all.
