Tankfest 2011 will be held from June 25th till June 26th at The Tank Museum in Bovington, England. This is one of the most established annual British military history shows bringing the story of tanks and soldiers to life.
“This will be the first time for World of Tanks to participate in such an event,” Wargaming.net CEO Victor Kislyi says. “And with over 10,000 people watching thrilling World War II tank-on-tank battles, the Tankfest is the best place to start with.”
Being one of the largest virtual examples of WWII era steel armour, World of Tanks is expected to evoke vivid interest among tank connoisseurs.
“We will be happy to present World of Tanks and give the audience opportunity to take a closer look at more than 100 authentic tank and SPG models including the ones that never went into massive production,” Victor Kislyi reveals.
Tankfest is also a great opportunity for World of Tanks devotees to catch up with the development team representatives.
“We would also love to meet with our British and European players at the Tankfest. It will be great to have a chat with our fans at this truly special event,” Wargaming.net CEO resumes.
