Steel Hunter, the much-loved battle royale mode, continues to grow and develop. Evolution is its latest iteration, which combines the features of both Reborn and Classic. From November 13 through November 19, access the mode via the selector and survive against all odds in eight event vehicles by respawning, using special loot, and giving your vehicle field upgrades. Face 14 other tankers (or nine other two-person Platoons) on a battlefield that is constantly shrinking, and prevail!
Familiar Features
From Classic:
Conical field of view: Enemies can only be spotted from afar in the 120° sector in front of a player’s vehicle (compared to 90° in Classic). Consider this when sneaking up on an opponent or trying to prevent them from doing the same. Proximity spotting works, but only at very close range.
From Reborn:
Solo Respawns: You have one respawn at the start of battle, which can be used during the first 5 minutes of the fight. You can recharge the respawn ability with Airdrops, but you are always limited to a single charge.
Reviving Platoonmates: During the first 8 minutes of battle, you have two respawns per Platoon. Stay out of combat for 10 seconds to activate one. After 8 minutes, the charges cannot be used or gained from Spoils of War.
Marauders: These AI-controlled enemies roam the battlefield. Defeating them gets you larger rewards than before. You will encounter stronger types of Marauders as the fight progresses (more Bears, and fewer Wolves and Hares).
Improved auto-aim (the same as on high-tier French wheeled vehicles): Works for each event vehicle.
AP shells: All the event vehicles have them as their standard rounds.
APCR shells: All the event vehicles have them as their special rounds.
Matchmaking: Skill-based for battles of 15 solo players.
New and Modified Features
Abilities: The chance that they drop from Supplies increases as the battle goes on.
XP: You get less XP for causing damage and more from Spoils of War (destroyed enemies).
Spoils of War: Along with giving you an increased amount of XP, they speed up your abilities’ recharge significantly.
Danger Zone countdown: Displayed when you are in the Danger Zone; shows how much time you have before it turns into a Destruction Zone.
Leavers: Players who desert battle get no economic rewards.
Vehicle upgrade tier: You can now see it over any vehicle you encounter (switch this option on manually in the settings).
Victory screen: It has been updated. Win the armored battle royale to see it!
Changes to Vehicles
+Huragan, Bái Láng: Gained in speed and armor protection; their guns and abilities have been empowered.
+Harbinger: Received more hit points and improvements to guns.
−Raven: Armor and guns slightly nerfed.
−Heavy tanks: The weak spots on advanced turrets and hulls have been made more vulnerable.

Progression
The mode Progression has been reworked. It offers more substantial rewards than ever, including Experimental Equipment and components, alongside bonds, credits, and more.
Progression Stages are completed with Progression Points earned in Steel Hunter: Evolution battles and for completing special missions in the mode. (Based on your performance, battles also yield credits, Battle Pass Points, and Steel Seals which can be exchanged for customization items.)
Until 5:00 PT | 7:00 CT | 8:00 ET on November 27, you can exchange your Steel Seals for unique vehicle customization items in the in-game Store. There are nine decals and seven 2D styles available, including the brand-new Devastating Corrosion style.
