Tired of your nickname? Found a unique name that describes your identity better and does really fit you? Then this action is for you!
World of Tanks gives you a great opportunity to change your nickname starting June 6th 0:00 UTC and up till June 12th 0:00 UTC. Everybody who doesn’t feel happy about their in-game names anymore can choose a new one for free!
The procedure is pretty simple:
- Check, whether the desired nickname is not taken yet in the game (enter the nickname in the username field and press enter) or on the forum (you have to log in to use the service);
- Read the nickname rules and Chapter 3 of the Game Rules "Names (Players and Clans), Avatars,
Images, Signatures & Clan logos";
- Submit a ticket to User Support Service, providing your login and the new nickname. We remind you that it mustn’t violate the rules and should be unique (if the nickname already exists, you will need to choose another one);
- And the name change will take effect after the next scheduled server restart.
Please, note, that nickname change is accomplished only once.
