IGN Prime Tournament Starts Today
Today marks the start of the IGN Prime Tournament in World of Tanks. Over 100 teams have signed up to compete in the tournament for the prestige of being crowned champion, as well as the fantastic prizes awaiting the winners – as well as the remaining top four teams.
In advance of the tournament starting, we wanted to provide you with everything you need to know going into it.

Battle Schedules
You can check your team's scheduled battles on the team list, by visiting your team page. These schedules will adhere to the overall tournament schedule, so expect all battle schedules to begin at the same time each day of the tournament.
For example, you can see that “!Team Influenza!” is scheduled to face off against “3Com Regulars” at 6:12PM PDT on October 5, 2011.
Map List
Below is a list of the maps that will be used for each round, including the date they will be played. This list is posted in advance to give you time to plan out strategies for a given map.
- October 5, 2011 (Round One): Himmelsdorf
- October 6, 2011 (Round Two): Mines
- October 7, 2011 (Round Three): Malinovka
- October 8, 2011 (Round Four): Himmelsdorf
- October 8, 2011 (Round Five): Mines
- October 9, 2011 (Round Six): Malinovka
- October 9, 2011 (Grand Finals): Himmelsdorf
- October 10, 2011 (Third Place Match): Himmelsdorf
Brackets
The tournament bracket for the IGN Prime Tournament is now available. It lists all of the current matches, and will update as teams advance to display each round. We also have two additional brackets for easier browsing, once the tournament progresses to that point.
