The last but not the least. Day 5 of the exhibition gathered a huge crowd of visitors again. The lobbies of Koelnmesse were full of people two hours before the expo opens. To while away the time visitors started to halloo every now and again. When the doors were open and the visitors were let in, Koelnmesse reminded an ant colony.
World of Tanks booth is totally packed again. Today the queues to the laptops in the tournament area are really long. This is the last chance for the visitors to win a powerful gaming laptop, an iPad or an excellent game set. The open daily tournament is on for the last time. Among those who try their luck there are a lot of familiar faces. Some of the players are here for the second, third and even fourth time.
Some of the faces are familiar due to other reasons. The community-party organized for all players willing to meet up with the devs took place yesterday. Today some of them are back to the booth again ready to share their impressions. The atmosphere of the party was splendid. The players who joined the party had a chance to share their ideas of how to improve the game, what modules to add and what new features to implement. They also asked questions that bothered them quietly and, hopefully, they got satisfactory replies. Apart from that all the players were participating in a lottery. Along with the traditional gifts, the lucky ones got a model of a tank that is big enough to be placed above the PC.
Follow the news and you will feel the atmosphere thanks to the photos we will provide in our final Gamescom 2011 blogpost.
