Cromwell B
Fast, Fearless and Flexible

The Berlin Quartet is here again, and the rare Cromwell B is speeding back to the Premium Shop for a limited time!

Does the Cromwell B fit your profile, or should you save up for something different? Find out below!

Summary | Loadout

SUMMARY

The Good

  • Great top speed (64kph) and acceleration
  • Great damage per minute (~2100)
  • Good vehicle traverse speed (50° per second)
  • A highly competitive tier VI Premium tank

The Bad

  • Thin armor will rarely bounce shots, HE can cause substantial damage
  • Lower view range than others of its tier

Reasons to Buy

  • Outstanding Crew trainer for U.K. medium tanks
  • You love to play the non-Premium Cromwell and Comet and want a Premium equivalent!
  • You want a great flanking tank

Reasons Not to Buy

  • Not a fan of British tanks (try the T-34-85 Rudy)
  • You're not a medium tanker (try the ISU-122S tank destroyer or the IS-2 heavy tank)
  • For some reason, you don't want a fast and flexible Premium tank!

Play Style

  • The Cromwell B is a highly mobile medium tank with the ability to circumnavigate the whole battlefield!
  • Use its quick reload to dominate the flanks, but don't stand still, especially not near heavy tanks with big guns

Loadout

Use/train a multifaceted Crew with Gunnery Skills, use equipment to enhance your gun, stay mobile and practice good battlefield awareness. Your shells also have good penetration with Premium APCR ammunition.

These are only suggestions! Feel free to see what works best for you.
Consumables
The standard loadout of Small First Aid Kit, Small Repair Kit and a Manual Fire Extinguisher is a good way to go, while Large Repair and First Aid Kits reduce the chance of damage or Crew injury from random artillery and HE Shells.
Equipment

Alternatively, Coated Optics can be swapped out with the vents for more view range.

Crew Skills and Perks

Boosting your Gunnery skills is crucial in this tank, as are Sixth Sense and Smooth Ride. The first Skill alerts you when you've been spotted, and the second makes you a better shot on the move. Also, this purchase of the Cromwell B means that its Crew arrives with a Brothers in Arms Perk!

Brothers in Arms is a Perk that improves major qualifications and all Skills for the entire Crew.

All of the Berlin Quartet tanks sold here come with a Crew that is already trained in a "Zero-Skill" Brothers in Arms Perk. "Zero-Skill" means that in this case, BIA isn't considered "earned" in our usual sense. You can't re-train this Perk to a different Perk or Skill, but the XP required to train future skills doesn't increase, unlike "normal" Skills or Perks. This makes it effectively a "Free" Skill!

The amazing Cromwell B is only in the Premium Shop for a limited time -- speed towards it today!
