Fair Play Update: Advanced Detection, Permanent Bans for Riggers

Commanders!

Ensuring a fair and competitive environment has always been a top priority for us. Many thanks to all of you who play fair and report rule violations—your dedication, along with our own ongoing detection efforts, make World of Tanks a better and more enjoyable place.

Today, we'd like to give you an update on the current situation with rigged battles. Here's a quick reminder of what that means:

What Are Rigged Battles?

Expand

Rigged battles are matches where players break the rules by creating unfair conditions to gain in-game advantages—such as farming easy damage, boosting stats, or earning rare awards.

This kind of behavior breaks the rules and ruins the experience for players who want to play fair and follow the rules. That's why rigging leads to permanent bans with no prior warning from our side.

Constant Detection. Immediate Action

Our work against rigged battles has never stopped. In our most recent ban wave, we permanently banned:

  • 40 players across the NA cluster

All bans are permanent and issued without warning. There's no room for error—our team carefully checks every suspicious situation. If a player is banned, it's because we have 100% verified proof.

Impact on Events and Leaderboards

Rigging doesn't just affect stats—it also influences major in-game events. That's why all accounts involved in rigging will be excluded from the relevant Leaderboards.

We want to protect the spirit of competition and fairness—and we'll keep cleaning things up wherever needed.

Know the Rules and Play Fair!

Don't take the risk—cheating always leads to a ban, no matter how advanced the unfair method/mod/script might seem. Knowing the Fair Play Policy rules—and sticking to them—is the only way to keep your account safe.
