GoHaRu.com devoted its new article to the historical background of the upcoming French SPG Lorraine 155 (51).
"This SP-gun was developed on base of Lorraine 40t, and as we can see from its index, was fitted with 155mm howitzer. A fixed breech end makes the vehicle look like assault guns, widely used during World War II. The initial Talbot engine was replaced with a Maybach engine in 1951. Here are the specifications: weight - 30.3 tons, crew - 5 people, armament - 150mm howitzer and 20mm gun. Claimed maximum speed - 62 km/h."
Besides that, the gaming info-source interviewed World of Tanks players and game developers who shared their opinion about the new vehicle.
