As a player, you can set many parameters, including what times you prefer to play, which modes you prefer and which Clans meet those criteria. Clan leaders can also set requirements for which types of players they seek.
We will break this guide into two sections explaining how, as a Clan Commander, you can set your Terms of Recruitment, and how, as a player, you can set your preferences for finding a Clan.

The first step is to navigate to your Clan Details page.
On your Clan Details page, you should find the Recruitment Station on the bottom right below your other Clan options.
First, you should set whether you want your Clan to allow applications. Click on the "Modify" link and scroll down to the "Other" section.
Click the check box to make your Terms of Recruitment public and to allow new applications.
Now, let’s set your Clan’s Terms of Recruitment. Click on the link in the Recruitment Station labeled "Terms of Recruitment." This section defines all the requirements for players who are looking to join your Clan. When players are looking for a Clan, they will only be shown Clans that closely meet their requirements. Also, when a Clan Commander searches for new applicants, they will only be shown if they closely meet your Clan’s terms.
The first set of drop down boxes shown defines the times you would like your new applicants to be online. (Note that these times are displayed in your local time zone). Modes such as Clan Wars and eSports require members to participate at particular times, and Clans will want to make sure their members are available. You can click the check box if your Clan applicants need to be around at certain times in order to join your Clan; otherwise, these will only be used as rough guidelines.
The next section defines what kind of Clan activities you want new applicants to be interested in. Is your Clan based on battling it out on the Clan Wars map every night? Or, does your clan revolve around a group of friends who are here to platoon and have fun? Check any of the boxes that apply, and applicants who are interested in joining a Clan doing those kinds of activities will see your information.
Here is where we get into the finer details of what you are looking for in a new Clan member. You should think carefully about what kind of player you want to join Clan. Do they need 5,000 battles? Or, 10? If you are participating in Clan Wars, how many tier X tanks with 100 battles should that player own? You don’t want to put your requirements too high or too low, or you will get too many applications or not enough!
Last but not least is defining what languages a player should be able to speak in order to easily communicate with other members of the Clan.
And now let’s save and find some new members!
You are also able to access this page anytime from the Recruitment Station under "Clan Details."
This page gives you a list of players who meet your Terms of Recruitment. Players who match your requirements the closest are marked with a .
Click to invite a player to a Clan. To invite multiple players, check the checkbox next to their names in the list and click "Invite to Clan."
Click to send a message to a player.

First navigate to your profile.
The Recruitment Center in the bottom right will allow you to either set your Personal File settings or find a Clan.
Let's set your Personal File first by clicking on the link.
At the top you can set what times you usually log in to play. This helps clans figure out which applicants are available at times their clan usually plays together.
Next, you can set what you are looking for in a Clan. Do you want to find a Clan that is focused on building a fun, casual and friendly atmosphere, or do you want to find a Clan that is working toward the ultimate conquest of the Clan Wars map? Check the box next to the activities that you are interested in.
This section allows you to set the minimum average win ratio of the Clan you want to join. Consider entering a number similar to what your current win ratio is to find a Clan with players of a similar skill level.
World of Tanks is a global phenomenon, so it is important to define what languages you are able to speak. This will help match you with Clans that you can easily communicate with.
If you are interested in Clan Wars, you can narrow your search further by selecting whether you want to limit your search to Clans that currently own a province on the Clan Wars map. Additionally, you can allow your Personal File to be seen by Clans who are searching for new members. They will only find you if your file meets their criteria.
Now we can save and look for Clans!
Clans that meet your criteria the best with be displayed with a next to their clan logo. You can check what the Clan’s terms of Recruitment are by clicking the icon. If you want to apply directly to the clan you can click the next to the clan you wish to apply to.
