Tankers!
In honor of the (second) Battle of El Alamein that occurred between October 23rd and November 5th 1942, we are running another Special Operations Most Valuable Player Contest! We are looking for more most valuable players this weekend. We have some great prizes to give out and we want to make sure to give them to the best of the best! For this weekend’s Special Operations MVP, we are doing things a little differently than the previous MVP events.
For this Special Operations MVP, there will be 6 categories:
- Light Tanks
- Medium Tanks
- Heavy Tanks
- SPGs
- Tank Destroyers
- Premium Tanks
All the categories will follow the same rules. There will be winners for each category, i.e: Light Tanks – 1st place, 2ndplace etc… SPGs 1st place, 2nd place etc.
Here are the rules (remember, these go for ALL the categories):
- The MVP points will be calculated by how much XP you gained over 3 battles.
- Take 3 screenshots showing how much XP you did gain for each battle (garage pop-up screenshot).
- Choose your best 3 battles over the weekend and add your total XP.
- If you have a non-premium account, divide the total XP (of the 3 battles) by 10 and this will be the number of MVP points you have.
- If you have a premium account, divide your total XP by 15 (of the 3 battles) and this will be the number of MVP points you have.
Example:
- Battle 1: 1500 XP
- Battle 2: 1700 XP
- Battle 3: 1200 XP
- 1500 +1700 + 1200 = 4400
- If non-premium account: 4400/10 = 440 MVP points
- If premium account: 4400/15 = 293 MVP points
Send in your 3 screenshots and your calculations with your total MVP points to: events@worldoftanks.com, and which category you are submitting for.
Please be sure to write MVP Special Ops in the subject line of your email or it will not be considered (meaning – all the emails go to a specific folder, if it’s not in that folder, I won’t see it).
You can only win a prize for one category. The best prize you're eligible for based on submissions is the one you will receive.
Submissions with more than 3 screenshots or less than 3 screenshots will not be considered.
Here are the prizes for each category:
- First Prize: 1 year premium account
- Second Prize: 6 months premium account
- Third Prize: 3 months premium account
- Fourth Prize: 1 month premium account
- Fifth Prize: 2 weeks premium account

We only have a limited amount of these kind of prizes to hand out (7-8 times a year), so be sure to participate if you like these prizes! We will be offering them again for the Halloween Costume Contest, and then again next year!
