Honoring Creighton Abrams and the Battle of Arracourt

Title

September 15 marks the birth of one of the greatest tank commanders in United States history. 97 years ago on this date, Creighton Abrams was born into the world. At the age of 27, Abrams saw himself thrust into the thick of World War II -- quickly rising in the ranks and becoming one of the most respected tank commanders in any division of the United States Army. Even George S. Patton, one of the most celebrated tank commanders, considered Abrams an equal in skill.

To honor Creighton Abrams' birth, World of Tanks players have an opportunity to participate in a number of events over the course of the weekend.
