1. How can I become a Creator?
To become a Creator, the first step is to apply for the Content Insider role in our official Discord server. Once you’ve joined, you can connect your Wargaming account by following the steps, then claim your role in the Server Guide channel. After successfully linking your account, the role application will be available in the server guide section.
2. What are the benefits of being a Creator?
Direct contact with Wargaming staff, access to a press account, support and budget for activities, Twitch Drops campaigns, early access to Supertest news and confidential content (NDA required), invitations to regional and international events, face-to-face sessions with developers, in-game collaborations, and business opportunities.
3. What are the expectations for Creator Program participants?
You are expected to follow guidelines, provide constructive feedback, actively engage in Creator Program activities, and maintain a healthy and friendly atmosphere.
4. What kind of content can Creators make?
You can create diverse content, including videos, livestreams, written pieces, challenges, and competitions related to World of Tanks.
5. What are the chat guidelines for Creators?
Maintain respectful and professional communication across all public platforms, including official platforms, streams, videos, social media, and events.
6. How are embargo rules enforced?
Our Content Creators (Not Content Insiders) are subject to an NDA (non-disclosure agreement) and will be exposed to confidential and early-access information usually covered by an embargo. You must adhere to embargo rules, which include not sharing unreleased information, screenshots, or teasers about upcoming features.
7. Are there any restrictions on using the press account?
Guidelines for using the press account—including security measures, event participation, and usage rules—will be shared with Creator Program participants.
8. If I am a Content Insider, can I become a Content Creator?
All Content Insiders have the opportunity to become a Content Creator based on their engagement, behavior, time availability, and Program contributions. The requirements to become a Content Creator are available in our official Discord server.
9. Can I request support for my community activities?
If you have a plan to organize events or activities, reach out to your Regional Community Manager or Wargaming staff to present your proposal.
10. How can I provide feedback and suggestions to Wargaming?
You will be able to share constructive suggestions about in-game features, events, and even upcoming releases through designated public feedback channels in our Discord server and directly through Community Managers.
11. Do Creators get paid?
Our Program does not offer direct monetary compensation. Instead, it focuses on fostering a collaborative community where Creators can create content, engage with players, and receive various perks. However, you will have access to business opportunities where monetary rewards are an option.
12. Can I join the Creator Program if I'm not a full-time content creator?
Yes! Our Creators Program accommodates various levels of content creation involvement, including occasional Creators, regardless of full-time status or platform preference.
13. Is there a process for appealing sanctions or violations?
You can address issues with sanctions or violations privately with your regional Community Manager for clarification and resolution.
14. What resources are available for content creation?
All Creators get access to content creator resources with tools, tips, and guidelines to enhance content quality.
