Operation Goodwood Challenge

After their invasion of Normandy, the Allies were met with a German desire to retain control of what they considered the most critical town in Normandy. Caen saw frequent clashes between British Churchill and Sherman tanks and their German counterparts Panther and Tiger. Some even consider Operation Goodwood the largest tank battle that the British Army has ever fought. In remembering this operation, we’re allowing teams one tier VIII British tank for this tier VII challenge.

For July’s Prokhorovka Challenge, team CYA cruised to first place, untouched throughout our winner’s bracket. This month, we’re once again calling out all 5-8 player teams for this monthly tournament that crowns only one champion!
