Flers-Courcelette Challenge


This month's challenge is loosely modeled after the battle of Flers-Courcelette, known for being the first battle incorporating tanks in warfare.

Monthly challenges are open to all teams with a minimum of five players.

Team & Tier Limit Rules

Teams may deploy no more than 5 members in each match. A team must field a selection of tanks based on the tier limits below:

  • Heavy: n/a
  • Medium: tier II
  • TD: tier II
  • Light: tier II
  • SPG: tier II
  • 9 points maximum
  • Maximum of one T18 per battle
  • The Encounter battle mode will be used for this tournament

Victory Conditions

Group Stage
  • Battles begin every 15 minutes
  • 3 points are granted for a win, 1 point for a tie, 0 points for a loss
  • Each battle will last 10 minutes max
  • The top 6 teams in each group advance to the playoff round
  • Teams are seeded into the playoffs according to the total number of points earned in group stage
Tie-breakers and Playoffs
  • The winner of each round will be determined as the first to 3 victories
  • Each battle will last 10 minutes max


The complete schedule will be provided at the close of registration, after the final team count has been determined. Rounds are to be scheduled every other day with dates in between reserved for make-ups and tie-breakers. Rounds will begin at 18:00 PDT (21:00 EDT). Curious what time this is in your region?   • Playoff Round 2: September 13th
  • Playoff Round 3: September 15th
  • Remaining schedule to be announced at close of registration


The following prizes will be provided to each member of the respective winning team, including reserves.

  • 1st Place: 10,000
  • 2nd Place: 8,000
  • 3rd Place: 6,500
  • 4th Place: 5,000
  • 5th to 8th Place: 1,500
  • 9th to 16th Place: 500


There will only be one map used during the Flers-Courcelette Challenge: Siegfried Line
