WGLNA Week 4 Action: S.I.M.P. Versus RBIS

In arguably the most anticipated match of the season, WGLNA Week 4 features the undefeated S.I.M.P. putting their perfect 6-0 record on the line against their heated rivals, the 5-1 RBIS.

S.I.M.P. has been truly dominant in the first few weeks of the new season, winning their matches by a combined score of 30-11, with only Noble Gaming pushing them to 5-3. Meanwhile, RBIS shutout eLevate, while taking down Penguin Mafia 5-1, and Noble 5-2. Their only loss? A 1-5 shocker in Week 3 at the hands of struggling Top Tier, a squad S.I.M.P. easily managed to takedown 5-2. But with the streaking RBIS winning their last three battles by a combined score of 15-5, they could be the first team to put a blemish on S.I.M.P.’s record.

Speaking of undefeated teams, look for The Cunninghams to continue to roll this week, as they take on the 2-4 I Love Lamp in a non-broadcast game. With their relatively easy schedule over the next few weeks, it’s difficult not to look ahead to January 29, where we have the potential for S.I.M.P. taking on The Cunninghams in a battle of two perfect records.

In other games, the 4-2 Hammer Time takes on the 4-2 Simply Irresistible in a battle for seeding, as both teams look to bounce back from tough losses Thursday night. Meanwhile, the 4-2 Fun-Gaming takes on the 3-3 RUlette, with the defending champs (formerly known as #RU) looking to catch fire and make an eventual run back toward the top of the standings.
