The release of the updated Global Map is getting closer, and it's time to remove the veil of secrecy and give you the first preview of Global Map 2.0!
Landing for All - More Provinces, More Space!
The Global Map 2.0 has a flexible architecture and, if necessary, we can extend the map to an unlimited number of provinces: two, five, or ten times more!
On the current Global Map, Clans must battle through a landing tournament to capture the province without error, spending a lot of time on battles that ultimately will not guarantee success.
Global Map 2.0, in addition to having more provinces, will introduce a new way of getting on the map. The ability to capture provinces through landing tournaments will also remain.
Choose a Vehicle Tier
The next generation of the Global Map will have regions restricted by vehicle tier, same as Skirmishes (VI, VIII, X) with the appropriate settings. Of course, province income and opportunities will also vary.
Get Set for More Action!
With the exception of past Campaigns and other Global Map events, which are less frequent due to current architectural features, the current map does not give Clans an ultimate goal.
On Global Map 2.0, a completely new architecture will be incorporated, allowing a seasonal pattern where Clans will have the opportunity to compete for special prizes each season.
Chips replaced by Divisions
A Division is a fully-equipped battle unit with the necessary number of tanks, and does not depend on the number of members in the Clan. Now, there is no need to keep inactive players on the Clan roster, there is no need to move one chip to complete a roster, and you always know that if the battle was scheduled, a full-sized team can participate.
Dividing the map on Fronts
Regions will give way to Fronts, each of which will have a custom border, set of provinces, battle rules, available vehicle tiers, or even a set of specific tanks. Each Clan will be able to choose the most convenient Front for them.
New currency: Influence
To participate in battles, Clans will need Influence, which they will use for almost all operations on the map:
Influence can be obtained in two ways:
Influence implementation will allow Clans to not depend on a limited number of chips and their cooldown time, and Clans will have the opportunity to self-regulate their activity on the map. Influence also can be accumulated, up to the maximum cap, and will provide the opportunity to plan long-term operations, and prepare the necessary number of the new currency in Skirmishes in advance.
Also, please note that Influence is only a Global Map currency, and it cannot be purchased for game Gold or exchanged for Industrial Resource or Credits.
New interface and visual component
In addition to technical changes and mechanics innovations, the map will be dramatically reworked, both visually and in terms of convenience. Navigation will be more convenient, a lot of new information will be added, there will be flexible filters, as well as a tooltips system.
