The World of Tanks Salute Program started six months ago, which is plenty of time for a good number of active military and veterans to enroll. Let's see if all that taxpayer-funded training has any application on the virtual battlefield of World of Tanks!
From May 21–June 1, we're going to see how often a player with the military tag can earn 1,200 Base XP in a battle in comparison to their non-military counterparts. At the end of the event, the winning team — civilian or military — gets 9× Camouflage: "All-season WG Fest." You can see the percentage of successfully completed missions for each team via our scoreboard, which is active until the competition ends.

Mission: A Question of Skill
EVENT BEGINS: Thursday, May 21 at 04:20 PT | 06:20 CT | 07:20 ET
EVENT ENDS: Monday, June 1 at 04:20 PT | 06:20 CT | 07:20 ET
"Wait a minute," you say. "This is an awesome event, but wouldn't the civilian team win by sheer numbers?"
No — for two reasons. One, the mission Condition is fairly steep, so it's more a match of skill than team with the most contestants wins. Second, we use a formula where the number of completed missions for each team is divided by the number of players on each team who signed up for the event.
