This guide provides an introduction to crew skills and perks. Reccomendations are given, but they are not intended to be definitive. Each player is advised to train crew according to their preferences by selecting perks and skills which are best for their personal tactics. This guide is provided as an example of how the crew skills and perks can be used on various vehicle types.
Perks vs. Skills
Perks: Perks are only effective when trained up to 100%. Prior to reaching 100% Perks give no additional benefit.
Skills: Skills increase with the crew member’s effectiveness. So a crew skill trained up to 50% will provide 50% of the overall bonus.
General Skills and Perks
Perks and Skills which apply to all crew members. Note that all General Crew Skills and Perks are averaged between the crew.
Example: If 2 crew members of a 4 man crew are trained to 100% in the Concealment skill, the vehicle receives the сoncealment bonus at 50%.
Individual Skills and Perks
Perks and Skills which apply only to specific crew members.
Please note that if two crew members with the same qualification have a perk (or skill), then the highest researched of the two is the only one that is effective. Thus, if you have 2 loaders or radio operators it is better to train different skills or perks (besides Repair, Concealment, Firefighting and Brothers in Arms).
